Training with Lisa has been great - she keeps me accountable on those early, cold mornings where all I want to do is sleep in, is always available to listen to my concerns (while also never letting me slack off) and helped me build confidence and strength in my running and biking. Lisa gave me confidence as an athlete. While I exercised and raced on my own, before working with Lisa I lacked the belief that is so crucial to successful performance. Lisa taught me what it means to train like an athlete both in and outside of workouts. She taught me how to recover, fuel my body, and how to show up 100% on race day. This meant that in the year I have worked with Lisa I have PR'd in every distance I have raced, from the 5k to the marathon. But more than that, Lisa made me believe that I belong on the start line. She is always available, listening patiently and responding right away to any concerns or questions, always willing to clarify her methods. And she leads by example, continuing to be an inspiration through her own passion and dedication to the sport and to her athletes.

Lisa trained me for my first half marathon. As a new runner I wasn't sure what to expect, but Lisa guided me every step of the way and I ended up having one of the best experiences of my life! Her training plans were always an exciting challenge, she was readily available to answer any questions that came up, and most of all, she made it FUN. 

Lisa's love for running is contagious; her knowledge and passion shine through in her coaching. I cannot express how grateful I am for all her support. I never doubted for a second that I couldn't reach my goal and that's because Lisa is amazing at what she does, plain and simple.

Lisa takes time to get to know her athletes, what is going on in our daily lives, and understands that we actually have other items on our daily calendar.  Lisa helped me through an injury and through a major life changing event.  She offered guidance, support, and other workout options while I recovered from my injury.  I could have easily allowed those last 8 weeks of training fall to the side, but, thanks to Lisa, I had accountability and encouragement to continue training my muscles and brain into knowing I could succeed with my half marathon goals.  Lisa organized my training so I not only felt strong enough to run 13.1 miles, but also helped me improve my time by 13minutes in less than a year.
